The gentlemen of Theta Pi have a long history of fostering leadership and academic excellence for nurturing young men in the Vallejo community. In 1966 The Continentals of Omega Boys Club was founded by Philmore Graham to serve these young men. In later years, the organization expanded to include service to young women. The Omega Gents program is an extension of that legacy continuing to provide that service through the cardinal principles of the Omega Gentlemen Program.
Omega Gents Youth Mentoring Program was re-established in 2016 and facilitated by the Theta Pi Chapter, an unincorporated association of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The Omega Gents Program is designed to teach and encourage young men to positively define, plan, pursue and achieve their goals.

In keeping with the fraternity’s founder’s contribution to academic excellence in the sciences, the program has graduated dozens of young men who have gone on to attend four-year colleges and universities. The gentlemen of the Theta Pi chapter also mentor young men in the area of science, technology, engineering, and math. In 2019, our Omega Gents won first place in both Senior and Junior divisions of the Solano County Science and Engineering Fair.
The program includes various activities that support the cardinal principles of Brotherhood, Academics, Determinations, Empowerment. Activities include:

Program Summary
The Omega Gentlemen Mentoring Program delivers service to young men based on their cardinal principles (Brotherhood, Empowerment, Academics, and Determination). These principles are aligned to the Cardinal Principles of the Omega Psi Phi Inc. (Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift).
Young men who participate in the Omega Gents program make life impacting memories and build relationships with accomplished men from their community; that is essential to their long-term success. Omega Gents develop academically, socially and emotionally. They grow through various support services and exposure to positive new experiences that reinforce critical life skills. Omega Gents develop a sense of community by participating in a wide range of service projects. They build the confidence necessary to visualize, believe, and pursue their dreams. Finally, Omega Gents complete the program with a network of peers and friends to provide continued support.
